Aimed at dancers, choreographers, performance makers, movement pedagogues, athletes, and gymnasts between the ages of 18 and 35 — who are residents or domiciled in Emilia-Romagna and who have fulfilled compulsory education requirements — the Advanced Training Course “The Internal Creation of Dance” is part of the Societas Institute of Research and Applied Art, which encompasses all the theoretical and empirical activities carried out at the main venue of Teatro Comandini in Cesena.

The Course places dance within the living friction between learned structure and inner movement, where the performer responds to sound, space, and proximity through genuine acts, removed from the already known, in order to imprint a personal, agogic, and authorial character. Through individual exercises, collective analysis, and the application of critical thinking, the aim is to foster spontaneity accompanied by self-observation. By practicing this continuous tension between judgment and expression, participants develop a choreutic intelligence capable of renewing its balance each time anew.

Admission:

– Stage 1) by 25 August 2026: submission of a curriculum vitae and a video recording (max. 3 minutes), full-body framed, performing a short rhythmic sequence to music of the applicant’s choice; this material forms the basis of the first selection stage.

– Stage 2) 1–2 September 2026 (for candidates admitted to the second phase): aptitude assessment consisting of two tests and an aptitude interview , to be held at Teatro Comandini in Cesena.

The maximum number of participants is set at 15.
