The Italian stage director Chiara Guidi will conceive her Japanese Fairy Tales as a unique – »site specific« – event and thus relieve the theatre of its stage conventions. We will walk into a lively forest to experience a sensitive intertwinement of gleams of light, music, sounds and mysterious voices. Japanese Fairy Tales will play with our perception, ability to connect sound with picture or grasp momentary scenes and thus also encourage us to co-create invisible situations. Consequently, we will often find ourselves wondering whether or not it is all just a figment of our imagination.
